ABOUT THE CALL
Call for RIS Projects (Capacity Building and Innovation)

EIT RawMaterials funds projects boosting innovation, sustainability, and skills in the raw materials sector, with a focus on RIS regions.
​
Who can apply: Any Horizon Europe-eligible organisation (incl. start-ups, SMEs, research, education, industry).
​
Deadline: Final cut-off – 28 November 2025, 13:00 CET. Multiple submission rounds during 2025.
ABOUT THE CALL
KAVA Call 13 – Upscaling
​
EIT RawMaterials is funding upscaling projects in mining, materials processing, and recycling to accelerate market entry of validated technologies.
​
Funding: €500,000 – €2.5M+ per project (min. 30% co-funding).
TRL: From 5+ to 8 (close to commercialisation).
Duration: Up to 2.5 years; commercialisation within 2 years after project end.
​
Who can apply: Consortia with at least two partners from different Horizon Europe-eligible countries, covering at least two sides of the knowledge triangle (education, research, industry).
​
Deadline: Final cut-off – 28 November 2025, 13:00 CET.

SME Market Expansion Open Call 2026
​
EIT Urban Mobility supports SMEs in scaling their innovative mobility solutions into new markets and sectors through collaboration with end clients.
​
Funding: €60,000 per SME (total €600,000; approx. 10 projects funded).

Duration: Up to 2.5 years; commercialisation within 2 years after project end.

Who can apply: Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) supported by an end client (public or private entity) committed to testing and demonstrating the solution.
SMEs funded in the 2025 edition are not eligible.

Duration: April – October 2026​

ABOUT THE CALL
Strategic Innovation Open Call ​
EIT Urban Mobility invites innovators to submit proposals for impactful solutions addressing key challenges in urban mobility.
​
Funding: Up to €2M per project (max. 65% EIT funding, min. 35% co-funding). Total call budget: €60M (2026–2028).

Climate-KIC and partners invite innovators to join PCP WISE, a Horizon Europe-funded action to co-develop next-generation water intelligence tools powered by Earth Observation (EO).

Funding: Multi-phase Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) for R&D services up to TRL 8, covering design, prototyping, and field validation.

DesirMED Climate Ambassador Programme
Climate-KIC invites passionate individuals from Mediterranean communities to join the DesirMED Climate Ambassador initiative and share their stories of climate action and adaptation.
​
Goal: Build a community of 100 climate ambassadors to inspire change and promote local solutions across the Mediterranean region.
Format:
Submit your story through a short video, photo series, audio, or written article (max. 700 words).
​
Who can apply: Anyone actively engaged in environmental or community initiatives related to climate and nature solutions.​​
